Project Manager – Central Texas

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee all phases of commercial construction projects ranging from $5M to $50M+ in the Central Texas area. This role involves project planning, cost management, subcontractor coordination, and ensuring successful delivery through strong leadership and communication. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates integrity, and fosters teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day management of construction projects from start to finish
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and change orders
  • Prepare contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders
  • Ensure project compliance with company standards and safety regulations
  • Facilitate project meetings and maintain communication with clients, architects, and subcontractors
  • Analyze project performance, profitability, and risk
  • Support business development efforts and maintain positive client relationships
  • Mentor and develop project team members
  • Assist in field coordination when necessary

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management with a general contractor
  • Proven success managing commercial projects valued between $5M–$50M+
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Bluebeam, ProjectSight (or similar PM software), MS Project, and BIM tools
  • Ability to multitask and lead by example in a team environment
  • Knowledge of commercial construction principles and contract compliance
  • Willingness to work on-site and step into field coordination roles when needed

Assistant Project Manager – Central Texas

Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support all phases of commercial construction projects in the Central Texas area. This role involves coordinating materials, schedules, subcontractors, and documentation to ensure smooth execution from project launch through closeout. Ideal candidates will be team players with strong organizational skills, construction knowledge, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project setup, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
  • Manage procurement and expediting of materials and equipment
  • Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems
  • Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Distribute project updates and ensure all stakeholders are informed
  • Assist with project cost control and billing documentation
  • Support superintendent and project manager in field operations and policy enforcement
  • Participate in OAC meetings, subcontractor meetings, and project closeout activities
  • Mentor Project Engineers and Interns, helping organize and delegate tasks
  • Ensure compliance with all contracts, plans, and specifications
  • Archive project files and maintain accurate project logs
  • Assist in marketing efforts and client presentations

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business
  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Bluebeam, ProjectSight (or similar PM software), MS Project, and BIM tools
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, and adaptability
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to work on-site and support field coordination when needed
  • A collaborative mindset and the desire to grow within a dynamic construction environment
